A picture "zoom" feature

Throw it back if we've been down this path...

but just a thought - has there ever been discussion / thought given to creating a ZOOM feature, which would give you the ability to zoom the playback to a larger size, and then navigate around the screen using the direction keys - similar to features on most DVD players?

As a forum suggestion? I'm a bit confused. Or maybe you are refering to wanting a new tivo feature?

I don't know if the TiVo has the ability to zoom as the software is quite limited in what it does. I don't think you could write in a "zoom feature" because of the way that the software is already written but it's a suggestion none the less!

It's probably a suggestion best directed at TiVo Inc. themselves. Nice idea though.

There is a whats next in development thread that Riley Cassel started and i t has a heap of ideas all the TIVO heads came up with - this was not one fo them though !!

Don;t think it would be possible due to the limited specs fo the mpeg chip in the TIVO
