New to TIVO - Is there any patches/fixes/anything I need to do...?

I successfully intalled a TIVO yesterday evening, and was wondering whether there is anything I should do to ensure it runs smoothly, or is straight out of the box fine?

Also, is there any optional extras that are useful to install/setup which makes things more interesting?

Yes, we purchased the TIVO HD.

Ok, I have moved your thread into the "Australian TiVoHD" area. The other area is mainly for the older Series 1 TiVo's.

If you have just bought the TiVo, go into the System Information screen and make sure you now have Software Version 11.1

If you still have 8.2.1 then you need to force a couple of calls to TiVo and then restart your machine to install the latest version.
