Looks TiVo have found an ISP to team up with for unmetered movie downloads.

According to an article in The Australian, it looks like TiVo have found an ISP to team up with for unmetered movie downloads.

    Internode has a teaser.

Just being picky here, but technically, isn't this P2P sharing of copyright material?

I don't know what you mean?

There is no P2P element involved.

Did you even read the article?

Sorry, jumped the gun, didn't realise I had read something completely different to you on the Australian.

Actually the article you have read is essentially the same thing condensed into a much smaller article without all the fluff.

What you have misinterpreted in your article is the term "peering point" which is not the same as "peer-to-peer". And even at that a "peer-to-peer" network is not always for the sharing of copyrighted material even though that is what it gets used for most of the time.
