Yeah, I've been wondering about this too... is the conflict resolution system automatic and invisible once set up?
Cheers,
Tony
I gather there is a way for 2 x Tivo's to "cooperate", share the recording and make the content from one available to the other. I assume this is what people with Multi-Tivo setups are doing.
My plan is to build a Pal unit from a US Philips, get it to record free to air and leave my existing one to record Sky digital. One in the lounge and one in the bedroom...
Is this a dream or can the ty files be sync'd and the tasks be shared?
Cheers / Dave

For more advanced users...
To stream shows from one tivo to another, or tivo to PC use MFS-FTP
Also a patch for mfs_ftp which allows TiVo to TiVo transfers to be initiated from within the TiVo interface
Or HMO Hack for Series One units (Other Home Media)
Warning there are some limitations with this one since the project was abandoned..

Is anyone using this on a NZ Thomson or 2.5.5 version?
Is the mwstate bug still an issue?
Is it working on the current version of mfs_ftp 1.2.9P?
