Help, how do we download media from Tivo without Tivo NHP/Desktop?????

HELP,
So I've put off buying the home networking package since I bought the TiVo years ago, now they have removed the item from the website and aren't activating codes anymore...
How am I supposed to transfer media from my TiVo to my PC??
Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!!

If you have a friend that trusts you and has HNP, they can add your TiVo to their account.

Other than that your pretty much out of luck.
