How to help with Guide Data

Guys,

We are starting to build a database NowShowing that will eventually end up being the source of TIVO guide data in Australia (and we will open it up to the other PVR groups also)

Part of seeding this database is the uploading of guide data each week - we have a tool Stationday editor (available in the uploads area on Minnie) for doing this.

We will also every month put up some outlines of the Foxtel Cable TV stations to enable everyone to fill in some details and help out

i kept reading about it in the mailing list but could never quite get off my *** to check it out.

ive just completed my first one! ( someone better damn well want to know which sweater project is coming up in Sew Little Time on the How To Channel!! ) which left me with a question..

How do we handle programs that started at 2330 the night before, or programs that end at 0030 the next day?

The rule in SDE is that a program is recorded in the day in which is starts -regardless of when it ends - so a program starts at 11:30PM and Goes to 2PM it is entered in Day 1. On day 2 Guide Data does not start until 2:30AM with the first show that commences on that day
