    Home Networking Package issue

I have recently setup a new Tivo device and also purchased the Home Networking Package.
I have installed Tivo Desktop 2.8 Plus and configured it to locate the photos and music on my PC.
This appears to be setup correctly as I have successfully played music and photos via the Tivo device.
However, once I have finished looking at photos or playing a song and go back to the Tivo Central, the link to the PC is missing.
i.e. If I go back to Mucic, Photos and Showcases menu, the PC links are no longer there.
If I restart everything (i.e. Tivo and PC etc) then they return, only to disappear again if I repeat the above.

I have tried forcing a connection through TiVo Central > Messages and Settings > Settings > Network > Connect to the service now. no luck!

Any ideas what may be causing this??

Networking is a can of worms which makes it very hard to narrow down where the problem lies. This type of issue is usually PC related.

Forcing a connection only connects to the TiVo Server and does not have anything to do with the issues you are experiencing.

What version of Windows are you using and have you tired a different PC?

Please search this forum and our Website for your TiVo questions before starting a new thread. Thanks!
