Green screen of death?

Hi all,

Just plugged my Tivo back in tonight after having to move it - and I get the green of death!

Am i right in thinking I have to remove the HD - re-format and re-install the system software again?

It depends, if you leave it on for a few hours it may fix itself.

Otherwise, just download the latest image and start again.

I have left her on all night and just tried her this morning - and the old' gal is alive and well.

The wife is relieved as much as I am.

Cool, might be time to start considering replacing the Hard Drive if you have had it in there a few years.
