Reviews on the TivoHD

Hi All,

I've been a long time user of the software platform and documentation developed here by others on the site. I've since moved to the UK and have invested in the SKY HD+ (similar to Foxtel IQ) and finally getting my first interactions with HD content.

I plan to return to Australia although not in the immediate future and based off recent articles, I'm concerned that the new Tivo offering might not be around when I finally do.

Has any other long time Tivo users taken the plunge and bought a Tivo HD? What is it like? What features is it missing compared to the usually mix we're all use to?

Many of us have bought the HD TiVo, the picture quality is great but i miss our hacks.

You can find what features are included in the current release at TiVo's Australian website.

Upcoming features due in about a month are external hard drive and show downloads to PC.

Obviously no hacks are installed.
