Help! Sound problems

Hello, today I upgraded from v1.4 to version 1.6. All went well, I thought. I went through the guided setup again and after all that had been done I tried to watch live TV.

It seems that whenever I plug the video source (Foxtel Box) into the Tivo I get a static like noise. I changed all the cables, even tried plugging alternative video sources into the tivo but still have the same problem. Can anyone help?

Hello everyone, I have worked out the problem. I upgraded the palmod config files and it all works now.

I've got the same problem after updating a box from v1.3 to v1.6.2. My tivo can produce sound from recordings made prior to the firmware update, but not from live tv. Btw, I'm using an internal tuner.

Can you direct me to some instructions on how to update the palmod config files ?
