No reason to feel lost, you have two options when it comes to adjusting the buffer size, both methods perform the same function in the same way they are just executed via a different interface.

The first method for adjusting the buffer size is to set it via telnet using the 'bufferhack32a.tcl' script as explained how to do in the OzTivo wiki.

The second method is to set the buffer size via TivoWeb. This route requires that you have Hackman installed and that you have copied the 'bufferhack.itcl' file into your TiVoWeb 'modules' directory.
