    Permanant back-doors?

Hi guys, I love using the backdoor option to Sort Now Playing, but it is annoying to have to manually re-initialise this feature every time you reboot. Is there a config file somewhere that allows you to "permanantly" set a specific back door feature?

    Ta, Phil

Review the tivoapp.README in /tvbin for more detail...

    as follows

    Code:
    [TiVo [p0] /tvbin]# cat tivoapp.README
tivoapp.301A is the limited release "fix" version that
doesn't seem to fix the green line issue YMMV.
If you use the 301A tivoapp, then use the 301A modules in the
    /lib/modules dir.
There are binary patches written by MuscleNerd that you might want to apply
    to the default tivoapp.

We used to include the patched tivoapp with backdoors enabled on a old image as standard, but found the patched app caused a lot more reboots than the original.

From memory the patched file is still included on the current images and just needs to be renamed if you want to use it.
