    STB channels can't select

    Hi Guys,

This seems like an obvious problem, but I can seem to get aound it.

I have connected a FTA Digital box (Strong 5200) and it is connected and working fine, however I cannot get to a couple of the channels as their channel numbers are wrong.

For example the TiVo assumes channel 7 is "07" when it sends the message to the Strong box, but the Strong box has decided that it is channel 3. I cannot reconfigure that channel number at the strong box and apparently not at the TiVo (surely it is a simple text file on the TiVo somewhere).

I have absolutely trawled the forums for this and have seen no answer.

BTW my box is configured as "Stong oztivo" and all the IR codes are working etc when it has the channel number right.

    Any ideas?

Here are my channel numbers... 10 Ten Dig, 2 ABC TV, 3 Seven Digital, 30 SBS digital 1, 31 Nine Digital

We have a topic about this on our web page @ ChangeChannelNumber

Also most boxes allow you to turn on LCN, this set the channels to the numbers specified by the ABA and matches what TiVo uses for most areas.
