    TivoZA,

To uninstall TiVoWeb do I simply stop TiVoWeb, remove the startup entry in rc.sysinit.author & then delete the install directory?

    Thanks

There is no reason to delete TiVoWeb and I would recommend not doing so as there may be one or two other hacks that make use of the files contianed within the TiVoWeb directory.

To stop TiVoWeb you can simply load it up via the TiVoWeb interface and select "Quit" from the "Restart" menu.

To replace TiVoWeb with TiVoWebPlus, in the "/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.author" file, replace the following lines:
    Code:
    Start TiVoWeb
    /hack/tivoweb-tcl/tivoweb &
with these (make sure to use the correct path of your TiVoWebPlus directory):
    Code:
    # Start TiVoWeb
    # /hack/tivoweb-tcl/tivoweb &

    Start TiVoWebPlus
    /hack/tivowebplus/tivoweb &
The above will prevent TiVoWeb from starting up so when you next reset your TiVo, TiVoWebPlus will now be started and not TiVoWeb.
