    Moving to Australia

I am in the States, but planning to move to Australia permanently.
I need somebody's advice what to do with my two SA 1 tivos.
Philips HDR 112 with turbonet card which I use as digital VCR without subscription and Sony
SVR 2000 with life time service.
Is it possible to use these types of tivo in Australia or I need to buy something else.
Also I'm thinking to sell Sony tivo and buy another Philips with turbonet card because I don't think I can use programming feature down there anyways.
    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forums.

Bring both of them with you as they both work fine here using our data.

It might be worth selling the Sony as it has lifetime, but generally the Sony units fetch a lot less than the Philips do for no good reason.

It's up to you, if can trade your Sony for a Philip's with a network card and maybe a bigger disk that's good. But buying a network card here for your Sony is only A$70 incl postage.

Petestrash, thank you very much for the valuable information.
I'll sell my SONY on e-bay and will buy another Philips.
