    TiVoweb & Wireless Bridge

Hi I have just setup my sony svr2000 using a wireless bridge and the turbonet card.. my bridge is happily talking to my router but alas if i type in the ip assigned it hits the bridge's configuration page instead of the wonder that is tivoweb...

tivoweb is configured properly and will work if i run my turbonet straight into my router but because i needed to use the bridge so i can have it downstairs in my living room i now would like to see if i can get tivoweb working in the current config...

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated..
    thanks,
    - tom

    setup:

Is it only inbound to the TiVo that is not working, or do daily calls outbound also fail.

If you have set it up for infrastructure mode both the bridge and the TiVo should have different IP addresses. For it to work they both need to be in the same range.

Also there was a thread here
http://forum.ptvupgrade.com/ how someone couldn't get a belkin to work with the TiVo.

    Good luck

    tivo and bridge

hi pete thanks for your reply... the tivo and bridge and calls are all set up and working... it's just the access to tivoweb that now will not work...
and for some reason the time was displaying 4pm when it was actually 9pm... would an alternate bridge ie netgear wge101 or 111 allow the separation of ip addresses? thanks,

I'll assume you are in Australia. If not, you might want to amend your profile to show where you are from to make support easier.

If you are using the current r1.4 image the time gets set on each successful daily call.

You should see lines like the following about half way through your otclient.log
    Sep 13 16:00:41 (none) comm[151]: Setting clock. Command = "/bin/ntpdate -b 192.43.244.18 129.6.15.29 132.163.4.103"
    Sep 13 16:00:41 (none) comm[151]: About to execute: /bin/ntpdate -b 192.43.244.18 129.6.15.29 132.163.4.103 2>&1
    Sep 13 16:00:47 (none) comm[151]: Command succeeded
If you have telnet access you can run the command manually and see what happens

    [TiVo [p0] ~]# /bin/ntpdate -b 192.43.244.18 129.6.15.29 132.163.4.103
    gmtime gives 105/8/14 01:38:37 [3]
    sending to clock 05/09/14 01:38:37 [3]
    [TiVo [p0] ~]#
The WGE101 has been discontinued, I believe the WGE111 should work fine, but I don't use wireless for TiVo.

I wouldn't give up on the belkin yet, you seem to be half there. Do you have the TiVo set for DHCP or fixed IP.
