    Video extraction via Mac OSX

Hi there guys, this is my first post. I was hoping someone could tell me if there is an easy way to extract the video from my Tivo to my Mac.

I've scouted around the web and found some examples, but I get stuck when it says to ftp files from my mac to the Tivo in binary mode. I have no idea what this means or how to do it.

Does anyone know of a way to do it without having to use Terminal? or does someone have a step by step guide on how to do it?

Hi there, yeah, I got up to the bit where it says "choose Update and hit enter
you should then get a long list of available packages. (I'm a bit fuzzy here) use the / key to find a package called dlcompat, select this file with the + key, then select install from the menu." and couldn't locate the dlcompat file.

I'll try it again and see if I can find it once more.

    Thanks for the reply.
