is there a faq that tell me what all the widgets are for

I am new here and am just getting my uk tivo to work here and getting a tivoweb card.
I keep reading about all the widgets and extra software that is available but no real explaination of what they do.

For instance today i read about the Tivo NowPlaying widget which shows a picture of how it looks. but does this widget just improve the graphics or is there more to it?

I suppose i just need an newbie guide to what is available and what they do.

Widgets are just addon's for a program called Konfabulator which runs on the Desktop of your PC. Konfabulator has nothing to do with TiVo, but people have written widgets to interface with TiVo's.

Check: http://www.widgetgallery.com/ for more of an idea as to what is available.

No, Win XP/2000 and Mac osX 10.2 or greater.
