It does not have to strictly be a 212. Anything in the x12 range will do you. The first number only designates the original fitted hard disk size which will probably not apply to what you intend to do (unless of course you REALLY only want a 20GB hard disk!). The only exception to this is the 612 had predominantly silver front panel.

I have done 10 of these so far without any issues. These three are for more mates.

It's just a pain bringing them in from the US freight wise as most seller only ship within US. So I need to bug friends and get them to freight forward etc.

Actually, there's 4 for sale now. Looks like they are all expecting far too much for them though.
