    Zonealarm

    Have my TiVo up and running ( a big thanks to Darren in Melbourne for his help! ) Just one question regarding Zonealarm, I can't make a call while I have it turned on , I can ping fine however.
    Does anyone know a work around for this?

    I take it you are letting your TiVos connect to the internet, via your pc?

    You'll need to set your TiVo's IP as a trusted source within zonealarm


    click on 'firewall' then the 'zones' tab.. click on 'add' and choose 'ip address'

    Enter the IP address of your tivo and give it a description... then click ok.

    That _should_ work (though I haven't ever needed to use this feature).

    Yep. What Zollymonsta said. I have not used ZA for a while but yes you will have to allow the TiVo IP address to be trusted with ZA. If I remember rightly it is un the advanced tab (or something like that).

    Thanks for the replies guys, that was the first thing I tried but still having no luck, I may reinstall zonelarm as I have had it running for a fair while and have a bunch of zones setup I no longer need .
