    Am I ready to Tivo?

    Hello all
I have read everything I can find about hacking the tivo and am
a little overloaded from reading it all...but thanks to all who
    submit howtos etc.
I am eagerly waiting for my tivo to arrive from the US any day
so I have tried to get my hard drive ready for it.
I have installed the hdr112.30.oztivo_emulator.release1.3 image
and it seemed to install ok, it says I have 39 more hours than I had before
I am using a 40 gig drive so i guess it is reading the full drive.
My main question...is this all I need to do to get the tivo running in standard mode? I know I have alot more to learn to get the slices etc.
I am a newby about linux commands
    thanks for any help

If by "standard mode" you mean "off the ground using the Guided Setup on minnie" then yes.

So you Image the HDD, stick it into the TiVo, turn it on and follow the setup gude and the prompts on screen. Very simple!
