    dodgy channel changing

I seem to have a constant fight with the tivo trying to get it to change channels correctly.

I'm using the Motorola tcl script found at for IR codes.
I have TunerDigitDelay set to 150, but have upped ad downed it to try and resolve the problem, but to no avail.

Can anybody give me some advice to get it working properly

Also, there are actually two ir blasters on the tivo

One on the end of the cable you put in front of the set top box, and another on the front of the tivo.

There are instructions on minnie on how to easily disable the blaster on the front of the tivo. I've done it using some 'tiki tape'. It's made the channel changes more reliable with my saturn set top box.

this seems to have the most positive affect so far.

not to do some testing for a day or two

well after a dday or two of testing, I'm still encountering the same problem.

    Here's something interest.
the symptoms are worse in the day, rather than at night.

The sky box is inside a black cabinet with no other powered devices inside.

    anymore hints?
