I picked up some TiVO units many years ago with thoughts of mod'ing them myself... I ran out of time and the TiVOs just collected dust.

The feet have deteriorated on some and I haven't opened them up to see if any capacitors have leaked. The HDDs are in an unknown state.

If anyone is interested I can drop them off (maybe spare parts?) or better to just take them to eWaste?

Same here,I've got a spare unit in the shed(No MAK,so more useless than one with)and a dozen chips doing nothing. The rubber feet just perish after time. If I could get a decent program guide I'd be happier.
