That darned 30 minute buffer

So I see various references for changing/extending the 30 minute live TV buffer - but this seems to have been removed after version 1.3... (?).
I have a series 1 TV running the latest OzTivo image - so do I assume these hack's wont work ? (I'm cautious to try in case I screw it up...).
If these hacks don't work, is there another ?

I think you may find that the latest version of bufferhack (released a few days ago) does handle the v3.0 image (oztivo 1.3 version). In fact I have just modified it to support the UK v2.5.5 image. The modified script can be found at this Thread if you are interested in trying it.
