What is the best video converter to use?

Windows Movie Maker doesn't let me put videos from my digi cam because it's in the wrong format so what converter can I use?
I want one that's pretty decent quality, doesn't cost anything, doesn't stick the logo on my videos and it converts all of the video, not just half of it.
I used to have prism something but then my trial run ran out so yeah, I can't use that >.<
And zamzar has a limit of 100MB :l

    Help please?

I have moved this thread to general chat as it does not appear to be TiVo related.

I use Oxelon Media Converter. Mainly because it's easy, free and integrates into the context menu. It's only 4.5Mb including the plugins. I found it from this lifehacker article:

It converts most stuff to xvid for me no problem.

Turns out the original post was spam, which was followed today by a helpful suggestion for a paid product whose post I have deleted.

I'll leave this thread though as your answer may be of use to others.
