Swap Thomson for Philips? - Auckalnd

I want to swap my working UK Thomson S1 minus drive, network card, remote and blaster for a working Philips S1 minus drive, network card, remote and blaster.

I am having trouble with the Thomson Image getting combined freeview and sky from one source (dreambox) because of the way the image/slices or postcodes are configured but the Philips machines are running purrrrfect. So why run two types when one will do.

I am in Newmarket Auckland but happy to ship mine to you if you will ship yours to me.

Let me know!

This would suit someone who wants the PAL tuner

Do you know that the OzTiVo (& probably the NZTivo) Philips image run on the Thomson's also?

why did I think I needed to use the Thomson image?

I'll miss the full height menu but its working like a dream (scuse pun) thanks also to those that have improved the IR codes for Dreambox, its changing channels 100%

So cancel the swap folks
