even if someone has an original tivo svr-2000 remote in melbourne id drive over with my tivo to use the power button to get it out of standby
hi guys, today i bought the sony svr2000 seems like a nice unit. to cut a long story hort heres what happened. turn it on. deleted recorded shows, i notice standy feature in the menu, so i select it, unit goes into standby. no original remote to use power button to exit standby. i figured id repove the battery to mboard it would reset, no luck. can any one help a newbie dummy please.

Assuming it is already setup to work in Australia and is using the OzTiVo software, have you tried using the web remote?

Where the xxx's are you TiVo's IP address.
