Hi elarbee,
Turbonet. Been around longer. More stable. 10/100 MBit.
CacheCard. More recent. My own experience, as well as observing the forums at ...

... indicates it continues to have a kind-of experimental/beta feel to it. That said, the most recent drivers have been around for about 6 weeks (ie. since 22 May) which is a good sign that it's become more stable.
You can (and I do) run the CacheCard without the cache memory which is designed to speed up the TiVo menus. It then works as just a network card and while also being 10/100 MBit, is apparently slightly faster (~10% I understand) than the Turbonet.
I decided to buy a CacheCard because if/when the menus on myTiVo start going really slow I can do something about it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Dave.
