Thread: Daily call failed since swapping to optus

    I suspect so to (that it is an optus proxy) as exetel say they don't have one (which may, or may not, be true). Doesn't matter for the moment, as it is working. So let anyone else with a proxy issue know that they should try this as well..

    I don't want to put it up here as I don't want the address too public :-) but i'm happy to pm it to anyone who needs it.

    Alternatively, I got it from here http://proxy-list.org/en/index.php - generate a list and try a few until it works....

    - and I wouldn't trust an open proxy for any of my other stuff, but who cares if someone is listening in to the tivo slices! :-)

    had it happen again - but swapped to another proxy and it worked fine...

    Unfortunately that's the problem with open proxies, they can disappear at anytime.

    Hopefully you get at least another couple of Months, a small price to pay for having automatic downloads .
