Your version of TWP is quite old.

You should go here and download the lastest TWP V1.3.1 or even upgrade to 2.0.0.

After some hours of bashing and crashing, I've updated to tivowebplus-v1.3.1-071214.tgz, being the latest version shown on the link you sent.
The instructions on the link said to replace:
# Start TiVoWeb
/hack/tivoweb-tcl/tivoweb &
with:
# Start TivoWebPlus
/var/hack/TivoWebPlus/tivoweb &

However they were both there, so I've removed the former and now have TivoWebPlus available on my computer.

Can you confirm that this was an ok course of action or can I expect some later ramifications?
