Thread: Stratos on Sky channel 89

    Stratos on Sky channel 89

I presume that sometime soon the guide data for channel 89 will appear. If I can do anything to help in that process I would be glad to try.

In the meantime, is it possible to edit a file on the TiVo to fool it into thinking that channel 89 exists so that I can at least record by time and channel until the guide data shows up?

    Any pointers appreciated.

Yes to the port 8000. As for the postcode, it is the same as it has been for more than two years. I no longer remember. Can you tell me how to find out and change to postcode if necessary? And what it should be?

telnet to your tivo and run 'get_postalcode'. This will give you the code.
