    IR Code for Eurotel STB-2000

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who has built up this amazing community of knowledge. By following the advice in the wiki and the forums I've managed to get to the point of setting up my source (a set top box) correctly - ie I get the Status: Video OK message.

    Question
What's the best way to find out whether there is an existing code for my STB before I resort to IrSliceCreator?

    Background

    1. I have an obscure STB called a Eurotel STB-2000 (purchased from Panasales in Melbourne a couple of years ago), which is not one of the brands in the Guided Setup list.
    2. I read on DTV Forum Australia that the Eurotel STB-2000 is the same as the Wintal STB-X5.
    3. The Wintal STB-X5 is listed on the OzTiVo Compatible STB List as being compatible (and not needing any special codes). However, I can't see any indication of which code was used successfully with the Wintal STB-X5.

Any ideas on how I can find the right code?

    Thanks, Pindy

The Offical list of IR codes is here.

Wintal is not listed. The compatible list is run by one of our members and I cannot tell who 'mark' is that added the information.

I suggest you send a post to the oztivo mailing list to see who posted the info about the Wintal box and which codes they are using.

Thanks. Will do. If I find out, and I end up getting the codes working for me, is there anywhere that I should post that information for the benefit of others?

Post back here, once it's been stable for at least a week.

I have asked Cameron to make a new field to hold this info, and I might add it to the main database also.
