    New TiVo sourcing accessories

Sourced a remote, IR blaster and serial cable from US okay.

An Australian power cable seems a bit harder.
Does anybody have a cheap source ?

Some Australian power cables are recommended here:

The cable from Jaycar is now only $4.95 on their website: http://www.jaycar.com.au and they have lots of stores around Australia.

Just look for figure 8 power cables at any electrical/electronic stores. These are round at both ends, unlike the TiVo original. They are very common in appliances.

    Thanks

I had seen the figure of 8 cords but I assumed that because the TiVo plug had a flat on one end it needed to be plugged in a certain way for polarity

I guess it does not matter which way you plug it in.
