Moved to OZ with TivoWebPlus 1.4 already installed - advice needed

    Hi

We recently migrated to Oz and I bought my UK Tivo with me. In the UK I had already upgraded it with a network card and TivoWebPlus 1.4. My question is, do I need to complete scrap that install and start from scratch or is there something I can do to make it work with the Oz version? I've looked at the FAQ and other forum posts but am still scratching my head.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi and welcome.

It's not a question of whether TiVoWEB+ will work here, but more of whether your currently installed TiVo operating system will. And unfortunately the answer is no because your currently installed OS will be looking to call the UK TiVo service and whether or not you have a valid subscription... along with other things that simply do not happen here.

Best thing you can do is download and install the OzTiVo image (latest version R1.6.2) and use that. It has all the necessary software tweaks required to make your TiVo work over here.
