cant bring up guide data screen

Ive got one of those old grey remotes without the guide button
The livetv/guide button is the same button
In the past pressing the livetv button when watching tv would bring up the guide data menu to select shows
Now its not working and tivo responds with an error beep

Now if I log into the tivoweb and bring up the web remote and press the guide button it works
guide data has downloaded fine

Not sure what is going on

Does the livetv button work at all? If you are in one of the tivo menus and press livetv, does the tivo switch to live tv?

Yes it switches to livetv

A reboot and update seems to have fixed the situation for now

The last time I reboot it worked but then the problem came back

We'll see if the solution sticks
