TEAC 420 STB Died

Hey All,

As the title says, our STB died in the *** when we had a power out last week when i was o/s.

So i was most likely going to buy a new one to go with the tivo, my question is, what is the best STB on the market for this, and can you get HD ones, or does it need to be SD?

The last couple of boxes I bought were the Kross brand from woolworths, around $50.

You can use either HD or SD, but as a slave to a TiVo, it would be a waste paying for a HD box as the resolution is still limited to the TiVo and input on US TiVo's is only S-Video or Composite.
