    upgrading hobotech image

I bought a tivo from hobotech last year
Its meant to be a customised image - mainly the guided setup is modified
How do i upgrade the image
Do I follow the instructions on the wiki and download update_oztivo
    Bootup says version 1.4 image

Is there a way to backup the shows on the hard drive

The only thing "customised" about the Hobotech image was that it used the updated wording in the Guided Setup screens to make it more meaningful when setting up for our conditions. This wording has since been handed over by Ron and has been incorporated into the latest OzTiVo images too.

You are fine to update the image as if it was an original OzTiVo image.

Incidently although the boot up says 1.4 it is actually 1.5 as the splash screen was not incremented between these two releases on both the OzTiVo and Hobotech images.
