IR Codes problem

Hey all, Got my tivo all up to date with the Guided Setup and Program Data,
But it all turned pear shaped
- Got all my philips vcr remote codes converted and scripted and uploaded, but after linking to them through CableBoxCodeNum - all she does is endlessly reboot,

Now I can undo it all - I've made a backup, but any thoughts whats going wrong, so I do it different next time.

Did some more testing - all breaks when I set CableBoxCodeNum = 30001,
which is the same as my /Component/Ir/TivoFormat/30001.
So maybe my mistake is there ??

Any help please ?

Ok, doing a quick search on the mailing list for "Endless reboot" reveals:

- Use Sam's Web page (http://www.sam.sh/tivo_ir.php) to convert omniremote codes to a TCL file - note don't use 10001 as for some reason the Tivo will never boot up again (endless reboot cycle) - I used 30001 which I have heard is very naughty of me - but its working

My suggestion: do a search on the mailing lists, and see if you can find anything. If not, might have to bite the bullet and ask the gurus on the mailing list.

Maybe one for the faq's
Do an "mfscheck -fix" before working on the mfs - otherwise - endless reboot as the mfs is corrupted.
