cant force phone/internet connect

hey there

i havnt been able to do a make daily call now since last sunday
aftyer the daylight savings change

i did manage last week to do call and then resync to ajust the time but my tivo is one hour out and if i do a setime it throws the guide out an hour
can other people do sucsessfull dail in ????

any help would be great thanks

We help people from many countries, for us to help we need to know which emulator you are trying to connect to, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The Netherlands or elsewhere (it would be helpful for the future, to add your location information to your user profile).

Also if it's NZ then which of the two ports you were connecting to.

Assuming you can still talk to your TiVo, you should run though some of the basics @ Configuration_and_Diagnostics

sorry my bad........ok im running version3 -1.4

tivo has been running flawlessly for 6mths last week did a resync from here

all seemed good then this week after sunday can not do phone in ......
resync would only work after force phone in

checked tivo networking concepts all works ok to the discriptions except last bit
here:

Configure the network settings as required
You will be presented with the following options:

Current/New Configuration:
timing setting : optimal
mac address : 00:0B:AD:10:10:10
ip address : 192.168.0.10
ip subnet mask : dhcp
ip gateway : 192.168.0.1
debug level : off
daily call : network <i dont have any thing here

finishes with debug and then options ???? no daily call stuff

please be patient i dont know much about linux at all but i can puffy to tivo ok and i can get tivo web fine ???
im not really doing anythijng different from b4 dst

The nic_config_tivo part was out of date. I have ammended the wiki.

Did you try the wget command and was it successful.

yes peter i got 200 from that and when doing the dailprefix i got ,401

as to the text on the basics

Ok, well the next thing to try is forcing a daily call and posting the first 20 or so lines from the tclient or otclient log. Easy copied from tivoweb.
