    Thanks for the replies Peter. I manually changed my config back last night, rebooted, and forced a call. All ok. Will monitor for the next few days but don't expect any issues.

    Pointed at 8000, force a daily call, then go into the Logos page of Tivoweb and click 'automatically assign logos"

    Well, my Tivo has now been crash free for most of a week. Brilliant. 3 hard disk changes and it was one simple config setting all along.
