    The date command showed the correct time but guide info was all out by 5 hours. Settime -rtc followed by a reboot seems to have done the trick, thanks... :)

    Clear all and GS worked

    OK - looks like I might have a functioning Tivo again after clearing everything and running GS against port 8000 once more. :)

    Question is - do I now need to to talk to the emulator on port 8000...

    Failed load on Port 8000

    GS on port 8000 fails

    Further to my earlier post, I have tried a GS against port 8000 on the emulator and it downloads fine but gets to 11% importing data and then fails.

    Failed while preparing data

    Well guys, I'm confused. I have a Series 1 Tivo OS 3.0-01-1.000 and had a message to change to port 80 on the emulator (127::210.48.107.133:80:::) as of 1 March 2006.

    Clearly port 8000 no longer...

    Editing tclient.conf

    Dumb question but how do I change the file system to read/write so I can actually edit and save the changes to /etc/tclient.conf?
