We are sad to report that we have reached the end of our TiVo license and the TiVo Service is coming to an end in New Zealand on 31 October 2017.
The TiVo Service is what delivers electronic...
I think thanks have got to go to wibble for his fantastic work on hosting the system over a long period.
The system has been stable as, great uptimes and basically just worked -- thanks mate!
I...
Someone will need to PM wibble, likely a problem on the server
I see a 11.3b5 image on one of my tivos, the one with the problem is a b4 ... some something must be happening
Bit of a shocker that it too over a month to sort it out!
Service Issues
Some customers may be experiencing repeated channel scans, this was caused by the launch of some new digital broadcasters across New Zealand. From Wednesday 22nd February...
OK, so that eliminates that ... I've thrown a 2TB in mine, so thought that might be the issue.
I have a few splitters etc running signals around the house ... my last resort is that the signal is...
Because I have the same problem ... and I think it only occurred after the frequency reshuffle in Dunedin on the 24th Jan
As yet no answer, although I've been testing a bunch of things
Have you...
I have the same problem as well. Looks like the TVNZ transmitted channels only 1 +2 + U + 7
Let me guess ... you are in Dunedin?
Thanks as always Peter for keeping an eye on this.
This thread should be closed, I see that the oz TVGuide setup has data for these channels again for which we are greatful to whoever handles that...
I've noted posts here (and on the other thread) wanting to know who, what, why and seeking explanations ...
A couple of things need to be made clear from prior exposure to decentralised...
After looking through some of the recent forum posts, it seems timely to reiterate that the nzTiVo team is a volunteer group and makes no assurance as to the availability of any form of operating...
This channel's data is from the oztivo tvguide setup ... pay to check out http://www.oztivo.net/twiki/bin/view/TVGuide/WebHome
Thanks Peter; this was done some time ago, probably about the time the xml feeds were made available from oztivo. Since NZ shares a number of common channels, just time shifted; the NZ system gets a...
Can you post what you'd need in the headend, ie the channel's and numbers ...
Codes for the Zinwell HD UHF box which is the same as the DSE HD UHF box [small black STB] have been added to the oztivo IR slice and the slice has been updated by the nztivo system.
Models are...
Apologies, jfp pointed this out to me.
Channel 50 is now also prime on the wellington FTA headend, rolled tonight so next update will get it.
I had a similar experience recently capturing IR codes for the common zinwell/dse New Zealand digital terrestrial STB's.
In the end I went back to the pre-IrSliceCreator manual method which worked...
Good call jaidev, this is exactly what it was; basically it was in prime time slots, so when first listed these slots were filled 'confidential', which as the time got closer were then filled with...
OK, According to NZMarke and Islander, this issue has now been resolved. Although we are still looking at tclient logs, it looks like it was a problem with a bad lineup in the DBS (satellite) slice.
This is an issue with the source data. I think we need to put a bit of programming effort into the setup, Ideally we need to setup a web interface to allow examination and management of such data --...
The headend for this is complete, so once the IR codes are done, this should work.
If you guys can
... get the IR codes sorted, all that needs to happen is load them into the oztivo IR database and [once Peter rolls a new slice] the NZ emulator will download them and add them...
As an aside, I'll get a tivo message out to ensure no other coversions take place from NZ.
I am running this confirmation, ie Thomson Tivo, on 02122. If it helps, it works for me.
