Hmmm, more reading I think.... tserver from tytools is installed on my machine, but I think it can only drag files down from the tivo, not put them up.

I'll see what I can find out.

PocketDivxEncoder. Its free and has most of the options I need, file size, audio quality, xvid etc etc.

OK, powered her back on, no difference I can still see the lines.

Recordings are not affected by the lines, crystal clear on my PC.

Hey Darren, Yep they are feint fine lines (white / grey ) running up and down the screen, fuzzy, thin, like some kind of vertical noise or interference. More noticable in dark parts on the screen.

OK, well I tried to do a "Restart Guided Setup" from the reset menu, and the box came back to the main menu with a banner at the bottom of the screen saying that it res reorganising the guide data...

Nope, couldnt find that error :( Grrr
