yeah it was my usual problem of patience!! Tried it late last night when I got home and it's all working now.
Think I'll set the daily call to go late at night so it's all done by the morning.
Just forced a daily update as I realised it hadn't updated recently (mainly due to network not being available, or Tivo not being on when it wanted to do the update).
It took prob 30 minutes before...
yep did the update after install and TWP still didn't run. I had set crashcount to 0 several times and it didn't work, I believe it's the sleep that made it start to work... does TWP timeout if it...
Nope - nothing - he's not even opened the PM's sent via Tivocommunity... I know that because I set a return receipt on them.
Visa want me to wait 1 month after funds were taken before escalating it...

I believe the sky box sends a WSS signal via line 23 of the TV picture which tells the TV that the image is a anamorphic image that needs to be stretched width wise....

My Sky sat box is connected to my Sony CRT WS TV via composite video. When Sky plays content in 4:3 then the TV shows black bars on each side, when Sky plays WS content then the TV recognises...
That'll be easy as I have a PC next to the TV (old MCE system for showing divx's on the TV) and that's networked.
