I assume you get this message under Windows XP.
Typically this is as a result of XP not being able to contact the actual port on the box (or get a response). I find that this is usually a software...

Part of...
The TIVO supports stereo only - if your surround processor has a Dolgy Prologic II or one of the Matrix decoders it can mimic Surround but that is the best you will get
Craig

The S1 works in Australia the S2 does not (yet)
Basically the Series 2 Units are a lot smarter (read faster processor and more memory) than the Series 1 - however the guys have...
Gary,
I assume that you have a new good Hard disk in the machine ??

You don't have it sitting on top of an Amplifier etc do you ??
Craig
Gary,
It will take a while to learn what you like - also the guide data at the moment is not always given correct Genre's so this affects it
Craig
Thats it
Craig
You are going to need a lot more knowledge to do this by yourself in another country.

Once you have this running then the TIVO will go out fine and attach...

All the hardcore guys hang on the OZTIVO mailing list - send them a thanks - especially Tridge, Andrew Palm, Warren and Ed
Craig
If you go to the mailing list archivesd i think you will see that Tridge commented on this recently (about 2-3 months ago) the card was based on an ISA PC card and to do it now would be prohibitively...
If your TIVO has a connection to the Internet then you can do the following
