Eeek. That doesn't sound promising! :(
Yes same with me.
Many thanks Wibble. The stalwart remaining TiVo users salute you!

Yes same with me. Forced a call this evening (Sat 11pm) and still the same issue. Looks like a headend issue Wibble? Is this something that I can potentially help with - as I know you're no longer...
I think my issue was mostly that I was missing data. But the time was also out on my Tivo as well ... so that was confusing me. I did a settime (as you'd described) to reset the system time (and -rtc...
Hi David
I got the same issue when I checked again at home. Call was successful and have guide data OK. But looks like there's simply no data prior to Wed am (I.e everything starts from midnight...
Just saw you posted a new thread this morning too .. was thinking you meant a new post in this thread.
That next post still coming? ;)
Hi Wibble - many thanks for sorting that out. What was the issue?
Cheers

The IP address at 210.48.107.133 (the NZ emulator) is answering to a ping - so the server is up. But I don't think the emulator is responding on port 8888? Looks like someone who knows (a lot) more...
Mine too. Looks like that was the last time the service was available? No successful calls on my Tivo since then. Hope we're not the last 3 Tivo users left in NZ?! ;)
Yeah I'm getting failed calls with service unavailable too. Anybody know what the cause might be?

And ... Typical. ... Posted the thread and thought I'd try rebooting and starting the daily call again. Only to find it connected fine and is now loading data. Sorry looks like a false alarm.
...
Anyone else seeing this? Or is it just me? Suddenly noticed I had no guide data. It's been working fine for months but suddenly stopped connecting a few days ago
Nope. A normal cable should be fine. I take it you do know what the TiVo's old static IP is?
The other - and perhaps easier (?) - option might be to simply change the address range on your new...
While I'm no Linux guru, or indeed Unix programmer, I'm happy to help out hosting a service or whatever if that's needed/helpful. Divxmaster - maybe we could work together to create a fallback...
I'm still using mine too - like the others here, I haven't found a better alternative to recording Sky and the UI is better than anything else too. The downsides of course:
- No HD
- Single tuner...
Yep - same here. In Auckland. So prob not a post code issue. Anyone able to help?
Cheers
Mark
Yeah .. thanks heaps Jaidev. You'll be sorely missed .. for as long as we manage to keep these old TiVos running!
Cheers

Hi Wibble
First I'd like to thank you for your efforts in maintaining the feeds! Much appreciated by me, and I'm sure by everyone else still using it. It's particularly good of you given you are...
Did you have a figure in mind? PM me if you like ..
Cheers
Mark
Yeah - good result, well done! I thought I had it sown up .. but a bunch of last minute bids beat me to it!
If anyone else has a Series 1 Philips they want to sell let me know ...
Cheers

At the risk of just another "me too" post, I'd just like to say that I also really appreciate all the work that's been done behind the scenes to allow us to use our ageing but still unparalleled...
Hi Zollymonster
Just to let you know I'm interested. Have put a bid on just to throw my hat in the ring. And will follow the action on Trademe. But if you don't have any luck there, let me know...
You are quite correct - this was confirmed via a query on the mytivo.co.nz website. So Series 1 keep rocking!
Bit of a shame really - it would have been a killer box if it had AV inputs.
