Sorry but I do not keep personal info on who lives where, nor am I at liberty to divulge any information I may know. There are many people located a lot closer to you than I am, but given OzTiVo is a voluntary user based community with no official "help desk" there is no guarantee that anyone may offer their help.
If you wish my help then please send me an email via the address given on my website.

Hi Darren,
thank you - I will send you through an email and will come for a drive (if ok?) unless another member somewhat closer is willing to help me out?
I understand that this is voluntry and that there is no help-desk(!) and will try again with the "help in your state" section.
Thanks guys,
Sam

There is another test I would like to try.
This uses your PC, not the TiVo.
Download WinPcap_4_0_1.exe to any location and install it.
Then download tracetcp-0.99.4beta.zip to any location and then unzip it into your root directory (c:\).
Open a command prompt and make sure you are in the root directory (cd \), then run the following commands.
C:\tracetcp ftp.monash.edu.au:ftp
C:\tracetcp ftp.monash.edu.au:http
You will get a number of lines displayed over a period time after each command. Once complete copy all the outputs and post them here.
Peter.

tracetcp ftp.monash.edu.au:ftp
ARP::whoHas: no response
tracetcp ftp.monash.edu.au:http
ARP::whoHas: no response
Does that tell you anything? Cheers,
Sam

It means your PC has no network connection.
check to see if you can browse websites, or ping ftp.monash.edu.au.
Peter.

Well I can browse websites ok, so I tried it again to see what I got. Same response though... My PC is hooked up via a wireless router to an ADSL modem if that makes any difference?

Did you try pinging ftp.monash.edu.au ?
Works fine for me atm.

There are currently three people having issues connecting.
Gley had the same trouble, he ran the test today and found a proxy.
don't know why you can't connect, wireless shouldn't make any difference.
Peter.
