Thanks a bunch to all the hard work that was/is going on to keep the Oz Series 3 units alive!
Just wondering, now that Prime7 have FINALLY given us HD on Channel 60 in regional areas, is the guide data able to be replicated onto this channel?
I've just got "To Be Advised" showing at the moment.

I have the same problem for channel 60 Prime7HD in Newcastle (post code 2299), i.e. no EPG data. Unfortunately, I do not know how to run "station_debug.tcl". Sorry. (I can FTP into the TiVo if that helps.)

I can create a S3-Newcastle-Prime7HD with guide data in it. But unless the oztivo mothership emulator sends that out with the same tivoid number that your tivo is looking for on channel 60, then your tivo won't see it.Quote:

No roll of the dice here for the guide for Prime7 HD. Gippsland Loaded / downloaded It 6 times since 3 am yesterday and no guide has appeared to date.

However, it also does not show any EPG data, so no difference.
Is this helpful? Could a new channel scan add the server? I don't really understand how servers are allocated to each channel.
Needless to say that this is quite annoying, as the few HD channels are clearly preferable when available.

If it's going to work, then you should start seeing guide entries for Prime7HD when your tivo connects to the mothership (after about 2am Jan 27), loads guide info, and then indexes it over the next few hours after that.
The TiVo with the server attached to ch 60 still has no program information. It has updated twice since 2 am yesterday. I also noticed that program data for ch 6 is wrong, duplicating tomorrows info today (and tomorrow). Not sure what is going on, but obviously some serious issues.
The second TiVo also does not have any ch 60 info. At least the ch 6 data is correct for today on that device.
Would be grateful for any other suggestions to try to get this fixed.

The guide data will not (currently) change depending on what post code you put into guided setup, as long as it is an Australian post code which oztivo knows about.
That's right the post code makes no difference whatsoever to what guide data you receive. (Although we do intend to change that at some point in future.)
So I think the question you are asking is "Why don't I see guide data for Prime channel 61 in Coffs Harbour?"
The answer is OzTiVo thinks there is a Prime channel 6 in Coffs Harbour, but no Prime channel 61. In fact OzTiVo thinks there is no channel 61 anywhere in Australia.
If someone can post output from /hack/bin/station_debug.tcl run on a tivo in/near Coffs Harbour, then I can check whether it has station details for channel 61.
A previous station_debug.tcl output from Coffs Harbour:

Also, if there are details (with server id) for channel 60 (Prime7HD) in Coffs Harbour then I could fill that in when I'm doing Prime7HD for Ballarat and Gippsland.

1. Find the IP address of your TiVo, it is found in Messages & Settings > Settings > Network.Quote:

No. Firstly, changing your postcode within Australia will not change what guide data your tivo sees (that may happen in the long term, but if/when it does, I will let people know in these oztivo forums and update twiki). Here in Mildura on my system there have been some anomalies with wrong movies listed for instance but in terms of EPG the only station that is missing EPG data is "Nine" - Channel:5, Name:NINE, TransportID:12960

If 7flix is working for one tivo in Mildura, then that says to me that the oztivo mothership side is configured properly (which is the main thing I have been concerned with).Quote:

I'm not sure whether that is risky (for example not getting 7flix back, or getting all your other channels duplicated). Anybody else know?
station_debug.tcl is saying what configuration this tivo is using for the various channels and for interpreting guide info from the mothership.

Im guessing there is no update to this issue for gippsland region for Prime 7 HD Gippsland regarding no guide data and 7 Flix Also.
Hopefully this can be fixed as the unit is parked in the garage (As a secondary recorder) due to the no guide info.
Would love to use it as the main recorder if possible.
As there anyway we can obtain this info for the guide or is it a lost cause never to be fixed?
I know this is a community effort and you guys had put in a lot of time to keep the tivo running , so hopefully we can continue on.

I just wanted to report that I still have no guide data on my TiVo for Prime7HD Ballarat on Ch 60. I understand this has been difficult to try and rectify, but just thought I'd see if any progress had been made.
Also, now that Sky News on WIN has been made available on Ch 83, are there any plans to include guide data for this Channel for S3 TiVo's?
