Pause and swap tuners

I have received my modded Tivo back and have the EPG downloaded and working.
If I push pause and then swap tuners. When swapping back to the paused tuner, it is not paused and the livetv buffer is cleared.
Is this the new normal or do I have a fault?

Fixed. My fault for not following instructions. As the EPG was working and I had done the guided setup, I skipped the Clear Data & todo list.
Did the Clear and it is working well.
