What to do when guide data is wrong

Hello again everyone :). I have noticed that the guide data for the MTV channel on Austar (mine is queensland) is always completely wrong. This has been happenning for at least a few weeks now. I have been missing a whole bunch of my favorite TV shows. It is not just some programs but it seems almost all of the program data is wrong. I read the article about how to edit the guide data (http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/vie...TheWktivoguide) but I would have to edit every single program to correct it. I am not sure what to do. I would be happy to help by uploading the correct guide data every week but I assume I would have to delete all existing guide data in order to do that and I don't want to mess anything up without aksing first.

Any suggestions on what i can do to fix it?

Hi Star,

This issue has been discussed recently on the TV Guide mailing list.

MTV up to now has been automatically fetched. But that data has now gone stale.

From now on MTV will need to be uploaded by individuals.

The web fetch was supposed to be turned off, but this doesn't seem to have occured yet.

If it's still not fixed, I'll be back in Australia on Thursday and look into it then.
